TT Electronics Welwyn Components offers the RC and CAR series of precision metal film resistors with tight tolerances and low TCRs over a wide resistance range.

With resistance tolerances down to +/-0.05 per cent, the RC series features low noise, +/-5ppm/ deg C temperature coefficient, and negligible voltage coefficient. The CAR series extends the tolerance to +/-0.01 per cent.

Both are sealed in a high grade epoxy coating giving typical 12 month low power drifts of +/-0.03 per cent for RC and just +/-30ppm for CAR.

For bridges or networks where ratio precision is required, a matching service is available. Using CAR, this offers ratio tolerance to +/-50ppm and TCR tracking to +/-1ppm/ deg C.

Applications are likely to include precision balances, test and measurement equipment, process control and medical systems such as ECG monitors and in-vitro analysis products.
