For use in hazardous areas, Sirena’s ETS60 motor driven siren provides an audible warning at a loud 109dB, while consuming just 1A of current. 

Available from specialist distributor Switchtec, the unit is ideal for applications and industries such as oil and gas, offshore, harbour/marine, hazardous areas, and general panel building applications.

The UK has a large market for Ex-d products due to its large oil, gas and offshore operations.  Sirena has already had success with its Ex-d beacons range and has added the motor driven siren to fulfil the requirement for a warning device that is visible and audible. 

Customers are driving the demand for smaller, more efficient, more compact Ex-d beacons, and Sirena has designed its latest range to meet these requirements.

Offering excellent technical characteristics, the siren is a high power motor driven unit in a copper-free aluminium alloy enclosure.  For high visibility the siren is red RAL 3020 epoxy painted.  Cable Entry is to ISO 7/1 and it is able to withstand an operating temperature of –30 to +40 degrees C.  Exhibiting versatility, the siren is approved to ATEX II 2GD, EEx-d, IICT6, and IP65. 

Measuring 140mm diameter and 250mm long, the siren is available with indicators in the following choice of colours: blue, amber, red, green, yellow and clear. 

Bulb options are filament, (continuous, rotating and flashing) halogen (rotating) Xenon (flashing) and LED (continuous, rotating and flashing).  Voltages available are 12, 24, 48, 110, 230, 240VAC/DC.
