Zuken has introduced an autorouting tool which it claimed moves away from clumsy settings-based autorouting on boards to a methodology driven approach.

This comes in the form of the Routing Strategy Environment (RSE) that applies routing data in a guided step-by-step process.

Called Dragon Router, the autorouting tool is available in the next version of the company’s CR-5000 Lightning PCB tool due for release in the summer.

Previews of CR-5000 11 are available at Zuken's CR-5000 Engineering Day on 5th June, at the Motor Heritage Centre in Gaydon, Warwick.
