Looking at the LCD inverter market, Syfer Technology has developed a range of surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitors, offering reduced susceptibility to surface arcing.

The improved properties have been made possible through the utilisation of a C0G/NP0 dielectric material.

As replacements for conventional leaded capacitors, the 5kV and 6kV capacitors are available in either an 1808 or 1812 footprint. Capacitance for the 5kV parts ranges from 1.5 to 22pF in the smaller 1808 package and from 3.9 to 68pF in the 1812. 

Engineers requiring the 6kV devices, are offered a capacitance range from 1.5 to 12pF in 1808 and from 3.9 to 33pF in the 1812 package. 

All devices are finished with standard or FlexiCap terminations and are fully RoHS compliant. For specialist, RoHS exempt applications, a tin-lead finish can be provided.
