Focus EDL is stocking a range of BASIC-programmable industrial controllers from Tibbo Technology.

Featuring four RS232 ports, the DS1000 is a DIN rail mount module based on the company’s established EM1000 device. Serial ports, sensor inputs, relay outputs, card readers and so on can all be connected to the module with few or no additional components. 

Programmed in BASIC the devices can used to create web-enabled applications supporting browser-based configuration, direct TCP and UDP communications, email, data storage, etc. As a result, the DS1000 is suited to work as an intelligent serial controller, serial device server, or serial communications gateway.

There is also a secondary cover to make the controllers dust and waterproof.
