The family of 19in rack cases from Hammond Electronics are available in 1, 2 and 3U heights and depths of 203mm, 330mm and 457mm. 

They are suitable for housing a wide range of equipment, either mounted in a 19in rack or, if required, the units can be used as a desktop enclosure.

The all aluminium construction consists of a heavy-duty extruded frame, removable vented or plain top and bottom covers and optional 19in rack mounting angles and self-adhesive rubber feet. 

The front and rear panels are removable and interchangeable; they are of flat construction to make machining and screening a simple process.

Front panel handles that mount to the rack mounting angles are optionally available to assist with insertion and removal from a rack; to provide greater support heavy loads, rear-mounting brackets can also be specified.
