JTAG Technologies, the boundary scan test company, has added to its ProVision development tool.
A test sequencer and manager, called Application Executor (AEX), has been integrated into ProVision.
This means that engineers develop and validate complete sequences for their test and ISP applications making use of the conditional branching and command and control capabilities of AEX. The sequences can then be exported to run on standalone or integrated test systems stations.
Another enhancement has been the addition of automated support of complex buffering and MUX configurations for flash programming and test. The company said it has also simplified generation of infrastructure tests requiring only the models of the boundary-scan devices, not the entire board.
As with previous releases, JTAG ProVision remains fully compatible with the prior "Classic" development tools as well as with all of JTAG Technologies production systems. The latest release is available free of charge to customers with valid maintenance contracts.
