The FL series from Glassman Europe produces up to 1.5kW of continuous output power from a 1U rack mountable chassis, with 'fully floating' outputs of up to 1500Vdc.

The FL series is unusual in that while most other high-voltage power supplies have fixed outputs with respect to earth, this unit offers floating output topology, allowing for greater flexibility in applications which require isolation or polarity reversal.

Standard operating features include: automatic crossover between constant voltage and constant current control to protect against overloads and short circuits; optional arc quench and arc sensing functions for further protection in particularly hazardous applications; and selectable constant current/current trip functions for flexibility with sensitive loads.

Four different models are available with voltage/current combinations from 0-750Vdc to 0-1500Vdc, each benefiting from a combination of high performance, small size and light weight.

Up to four units can be connected in parallel with active current sharing, to produce 6kW of continuous output power. Each unit can be mounted directly on top of another without a space in between, thereby creating more rack space for other vital components required within a system.

All models are fully CE approved and have a universal input voltage range (90Vac - 264Vac) with active power factor correction.
