The latest addition to distributor Switchtec's SCL brand, the PL22-LT 22mm LED lamp test pilot lamp incorporates a third connection terminal for testing the LEDs without energising a whole panel.

The 22mm pilot lamp has been designed for use in control panels across a wide range of applications including general industrial, medical, machinery, fork lift trucks, electric vehicles, lift and hoist controllers.

Showing versatility, all SCL PL22-LT lamps are available in 12 and 24V (ac & dc) and 110 and 230Vac and able to display a wide range of signals - the lamps are available in red, yellow, blue, green and white.
The environmentally friendly SCL PL22-LT lamp consumes less than 20mA current and has a pollution degree of 3, saving energy compared to traditional filament bulb indicators especially when multiple lamps are used in a control panel.

With an uninterrupted duty rating of 30,000 hours, the PL22-LT will outlast filament bulb types many times over and are much more robust and resistant to shock and vibration. The multichip LED is able to withstand a high vibration specification of 10 to 2000Hz, 1.5mm, 10g, which would destroy a filament lamp.

CE marked and fully RoHS compliant, the PL22-LT is manufactured from a high quality ABS with flame retardant material, maintaining its original features, whilst also incorporating the lamp test function.
