Laird Technologies is offering a 3.5GHz vertically-polarised 120 degree sector basestation antenna for Wimax.

Compliant with ETSI pattern specifications, the antenna operates across the 3.4-3.7GHz frequency band.

According to the supplier, its maximum null fill below the horizon ensures uniform energy distribution to each user within each cell.

The design includes a beam shaper that reduces sidelobe interference, as well as low front-to-side and front-to-back ratios, resulting in a precise antenna pattern that can minimise interference and provides a cleaner signal, said the supplier.
