Hitachi Europe Display Products Group (DPG) TX20D19 is a compact 8.0” wide aspect ratio TFT display module. The TX20D19 supports a 15:9 wide aspect ratio, a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) and delivers excellent optical performance.

The transmissive display continues Hitachi’s implementation of rugged, reliable and high brightness LED backlighting in medium size TFT display modules. This provides image uniformity and delivers a brightness of 350cd/m² with a 200:1 contrast ratio.

The high colour saturation and uniformity of the TX20 display module is ideal for applications such as in flight entertainment, media terminals, navigation systems, home automation and industrial user interfaces.

The TX20D19 display module has compact dimensions of 189mm (w) x 120mm (h) x 7.5mm (d) and weighs 170g. Electrically compatible with existing Hitachi WVGA displays, the TX20D19 features a 6-bit RGB CMOS interface which enables up to 262,000 colours to be displayed. The display module can be safely operated at temperatures between -20°C and +70°C.
