NXP Semiconductors has announced the availability of the LPC292x series of 125MHz microcontrollers.

The ARM968-based microcontrollers feature a USB host/on-the-go/device, 16kbyte EEPROM, 5V ADC, UARTs with RS485 and LIN support, Quadrature Encoder Interface and Motor Control PWMs.

The microcontrollers provide performance of 1.1MIPS/MHz and they come with up to 768kbyte embedded flash memory, 48kbyte RAM and 2x32kbyte tightly-coupled memories (TCM).
