Tyco Electronics has extended its range with the EMC filter series, to include a high-performance, universally applicable single-phase filter for current ratings of up to 30A.

Due to its two-stage construction and use of high-quality components, this compact dual-circuit filter series delivers high common mode and differential mode attenuation over the entire frequency range of 100KHz to 30MHz.

The EMC filter series is suited to all types of single-phase applications, which require high attenuation to reduce wire-induced interference to within required limits. The filter can be used in a wide range of devices, both in consumer electronics and in industrial single-phase applications, such as motor drives and switch mode power supplies.

The EMC filter series is available with Faston terminals, as well as screw-type and cable terminals. The unit is fastened using surface screw mounting and, due to its compact design, has low space requirements.

All versions of the EMC filter series are UL and VDE approval and are fully RoHS compliant. The single-phase filter offers an option for individual interference suppression problems.
