Altera will be demonstrating an FPGA-based platform ASSP replacement infotainment system (PARIS) development platform aimed at automotive designers and OEMs. Jointly developed with Gleichmann Electronics Research, the PARIS platform includes pre-verified IP from more than a dozen third-party hardware and software IP vendors.

Nordic Semiconductor is exhibiting its latest transceiver – the nRF24LE1 – with radio core, MCU and flash memory in a single chip. This is an ultra low power (ULP) system-on-chip 2.4GHz transceiver that delivers true ULP operation with peak currents low enough to run on CR2032 3V coin cell batteries.

Intersil will be showcasing its latest proximity sensor the ISL29015 which combines an ambient light sensor along with an integrated infrared sensor, an LED driver for an external infrared LED, and signal conditioning processing. This one-chip proximity sensing design eliminates up to four external discrete functions, claimed the company.

IQD Frequency Products will be showing its latest quartz crystal oscillator with complementary LVPECL (low-voltage positive emitter coupled logic) output, designed for use in telecommunications exchange equipment and other high-speed data switching applications. The CFPS-59 SPXO is available with output frequencies from 75MHz right up to 170MHz.
