XP Power’s latest isolated and regulated DC-DC converters come in a metal-cased DIP-24 package measuring 31.75x20.32x 0.40 mm (1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40 inches), the converters offer 8, 10 and 12W output models with a 2:1 input voltage range.

The DIP-24 format makes them suitable as a low cost drop-in replacement or a power upgrade in existing end products; saving the need to re-design the PCB layout.

The JCJ08 and JCJ10 series are rated at 8 and 10W respectfully while the JCG12 is rated at 12W.

The units offer the wide 2:1 input voltage options of 9-18, 18-36 or 36-75Vdc, covering the nominal application voltages of 12, 24 and 48Vdc.

Single output models are available with an output voltage of 2.5, 3.3, 5, 12 or 15Vdc. Dual output models offer +/-12 or +/- 5Vdc outputs and +/-5Vdc for the JCJ08.

The outputs are regulated to within +/-0.5% over all input conditions and to less than +/- 1% for all load conditions. The JCJ08 and JCJ10 models provide an input to output isolation of up to 1,500Vdc for one minute. The JCG12 series is rated to1,600Vdc isolation.
