TrumPower’s TRM24 series of 12-24W wall mount power adapters are approved to class II medical standards.

The series, which accepts 90-264VAC, features output overvoltage, overload, and short circuit protections.

Output voltage is factory preset anywhere between 3-27V, regulated to +/-5%. Output power is 12W on 3-5V units, 15W (5-8V), 20W (8-11V) or 24W (11-27V). Standard output connector is a barrel plug although there are more other options.

On the mains side, there is a choice of interchangeable plugs or fixed plugs including: US, EU, British and Australian types. Interchangeable plugs come with an adapter body and a US, EU, UK and Australian plug kit.

Leakage current is typically 60µA at 264VAC, and approvals include: IEC60601-1, UL60601-1, EN60601-1, CE, CB safety standards as well as its compliance with EN60601-1-2 EMI standards including EN55011/FCC/VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN61000-3-2, EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-11.

The series can be fully loaded across 0 to 40 ºC ambient temperature. CEC efficiency level IV regulation is met, and stand-by power is typically less than 0.3W - with efficiency up to 79%.

The MTBF is 150,000 hours minimum at full load (25 ºC ambient, MIL-HDBK-217F) and the adapter is 81x43x36mm.
