At 2.0x2.0x1.0mm, Murata claims to be making industry's smallest isolator for 800MHz/2GHz mobile phone handset applications - 56% smaller than its previous generation.
The CEG23 series offers an LGA (land grid array) terminal, reducing mounting space.
New electrode construction and fully integrated circuitry have reduced the CEG23 series' dispersion, insertion loss and frequency tolerance.
Murata has maintained the two-port circuit technology from the current model to maintain matching with the power amplifier, and so can replace its previous generations of isolator.
