A differential amplifier family from Texas Instruments is designed to drive data conversion across single- and multi-channel successive approximation register (SAR) and delta-sigma analogue-to-digital converters for high accuracy up to 24 bits.
The THS452x range consumes quiescent current of 1.14mA/channel and has power down current of 20µA).
Bandwidth is 145MHz and slew rate 490V/[micro]s. Input voltage noise is 4.6nV/rtHz.
The supplier gives a design example of using the THS4521 to buffer the ADS1278, at 10kHz input achieving 102dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and 110dBc spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) with very low quiescent current, which reduces system power consumption.
