Tyco Electronics SEC-II high-current, printed-circuit board edge connector has a current rating of 160 amps per linear inch. This represents a 30% increase in current density of compared to existing power edge connectors.

The SEC-II power connector is an improved version of the existing SEC line, offering improvements in contact design for efficient current transfer and a ventilated housing to keep contacts cool. 

In addition, the AC and DC contact designs maximize the current carrying capacity for use in AC/DC power supplies. The SEC-II power connector is available in both vertical and right angle configurations.
