Seoul Semiconductor has launched a surface-mount power LED for general lighting.
“The Z1 series enables both interior and exterior lighting fixtures and home appliances by offering a brighter light source at high temperature for a longer timeframe without sacrificing high reliability,” claimed the firm.
“It is as slim as a credit card which makes the Z1 an LED for numerous compact illumination products.”
The ceramic package is 5x6mm and 1.2mm thick, and the series includes the NZ10150 warm (3,000K CRI=80) white and WZ10150 cool (6,300K CRI=68) white with typically 80 lm and 105 lm output respectively, and up to 95 lm and 125 lm.
Typical drive conditions are 450mA at 4.2Vf.
Outside general illumination, Seoul expects supplication in signs, displays, refrigerators, and under cabinets.
