Schaffner has a range of EMC/EMI filters for use with photvoltaic (PV) solar energy inverters.

When used in conjunction with appropriately sized EMC/EMI filters on the mains side, the new FN 2200 DC filters help to meet the limits of EN 61000 and other binding EMC standards.

The filters are space-efficient and ensure minimum power loss of less than 0.0008% related to the rating of the inverter. This should help to maximize the complete PV system efficiency.

The range is available with ratings from 25 to 1500A at 55°C and for voltages up to 1200VDC.

Filters without filter capacitors to ground (FN 2200B) are available upon request. All models are UL, CSA, and ENEC approved and RoHS compliant.
