Texas Instruments has introduced an automotive-qualified DC-DC step-down voltage converter for high voltages up to 60V.
The input voltage range is 3.6V to 48V, and it will sustain transients up to 60V to protect the system.
With a switching frequency up to 2MHz, the TPS54362-Q1 converts an unregulated input voltage to a fixed lower output voltage to power automotive applications, such as infotainment, navigation systems, and power supply for electronic control units.
Quiescent current is 65µA and there is an integrated voltage supervisor to monitor system performance.
The TPS54362-Q1 is available in a HTSSOP-20 package.
