Flatpack aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Charcroft provide high-density storage in power hold-up applications for DSCC and other long lifetime, RoHS-exempt applications.

Housed in compact packages with a half-inch profile and lengths from 1.5 inches to 3.0 inches, these flatpacks are designed to offer higher power-density than screw-terminal packages. They can be heat-sinked to double their rated ripple capacity and both package options offer capacitance values up to 47,000µF.

The aluminum-housed MLP operates up to 85 ºC with rated voltages up to 450Vdc. The stainless steel-case housed MLS operates to 125ºC with rated voltages up to 250Vdc.
