The TTi PL-P(G) series of linear regulated power supplies incorporate a range of remote-control interface.

The interfaces include GPIB, USB, RS232, Ethernet (LXI) and analogue. USB and RS232 are most likely to be used for small systems or single PC control, while GPIB and LXI are more appropriate for larger system use.

While GPIB (IEEE-488) remains the most widely used interface for instrument systems, LXI (LAN extensions for Instrumentation) is the LAN-based equivalent to GPIB, combining the advantages of Ethernet with the simplicity of GPIB.

The PL-P(G) Series conform with LXI 1.2 (category C) and include a built-in web server which provides information, configuration and control via a web browser.

The interfaces provide full control and readback with a setting resolution of 1mV or 0.01mA.
