NEC has released 100V DPAK mosfets for automotive use.
An expansion of the NP-Series, the NP28N10SDE and NP36N10SDE can switch currents up to 28A and 36A respectively.
Based on the firm's UMOS-2 technology, the devices have RDS(subon) values of 41 and 27m[ohm] respectively.
Qualification is to AEC-Q101 and channel temperature up to 175°C is supported.
"The devices address the demand for power mosfets with higher breakthrough voltage, in DC/DC converters, injection control, or lighting applications like LED or HID lamps," said NEC.
Samples are available now. Volume production is scheduled for the second half of 2009.
