Fairchild Semiconductor is offering designers of portable applications a web-based simulation tool which an be used to assess the performance of load switches in actual application circuits.

The IntelliMAX design tool contains models of Fairchild’s load switches in pre-defined application circuits.  By using the tool’s interactive graphical user interface (GUI), designers can examine the performance most important for their application.

This IntelliMAX design tool is not the only Fairchild design tool, the FETBench design tool provides a live datasheet environment on over 300 of Fairchild’s mosfets.

This tool allows a designer to optimize the mosfet selection based on their specific application requirements.
