Maxim Integrated Products has a low-noise amplifier (LNA) optimised for remote keyless entry (RKE) and tire pressure monitoring (TPM) applications operating in the 315MHz and 433MHz bands.
Designed on a SiGe BiCMOS process, the LNA is designed to improves receiver sensitivity with its 1.25dB noise figure.
Power consumption is 2.5mA (typical).
The MAX2634 features a logic-enabled shutdown mode that reduces supply current to less than 1µA.
According to supplier, it also can remove the need for external DC-blocking capacitors in key-fob designs.
The MAX2634 operates from a 2.2V to 5.5V supply. Fully specified over the -40 degrees Celsius to +125 degrees Celsius automotive temperature range, it is available in an ultra-small, 2.0mm x 2.2mm, 6-pin SC70 package.
