Omnetics Connector‘s latest range of circular nano products are targeted at applications which require positive locking, including surveillance equipment, night-vision systems and military and aerospace equipment.

The threaded nano circular connector has a ruggedised metal housing to the plastic insulators as well as the firm’s patented split end contact which exceeds the requirements of MIL-DTL 32139.

The threaded nano circular connector has a total mated length of 9mm and the range includes diameters from 3.1mm to 5.5mm.  It is available in 6, 11, 16 and 28 position housing sizes with either pre-wired or solid straight tail terminations.

Polarised gold-plated contacts shrouded in Omnetics’ unique liquid crystal polymer housing to MIL-M-234519 enables it to withstand wide temperature variations from -55 to +125 deg C and be capable of more than 2,000 mating cycles,
