Power-One’s latest DC-DC converter is a sixteenth-brick which provides 12Vdc at 7A with 100% of full-rated power available at 55°C, and 7A at 70°C, using only 200 LFM airflow.

The SSQE48T07120 product also features the capability to withstand a 100V input transient for 100ms, meets EN 60950 Basic Insulation requirements, and is UL94 V-0 flammability rated.

The input range is 36 to 75Vdc. The converter also has the capability to start up into pre-biased loads, and no minimum-load operation.

Protections include: hiccup-mode over-current, output overvoltage, input under-voltage lockout, and over-temperature shutdown.

Interface and trim capabilities include: remote sense, remote ON/OFF (positive or negative logic option), and +10%/−20% output voltage trim ranges with industry-standard trim equations. Approvals include: UL/CSA 60950-1, EN 60950-1, and IEC EN 60950-1.

It has a DOSA-compliant through-hole-mount pin-out and 0.9” x 1.3” (22.9mm x 33mm) footprint.
