XP Power has announced the ECS100 family of single output 100 Watt AC/DC power supplies, with the ultra compact 100W AC/DC power supply being aimed to meet industrial and medical safety standards.

Fitting into a standard 1U space, the units measure 50.8 x 101.6 x 30.5 mm (2 x 4 x 1.20 inches), offers a high power density of 10.4 Watts per cubic inch. The units can provide 80 Watts when convection cooled, and require only 10 CFM of forced airflow to provide the full 100W output.

The models have an input voltage range of 80-264 VAC and are approved for Class I and Class II applications. The operating temperature range is -20 degC to +70 degC, with derating from +50 degC.

A total of five models are available providing the nominal outputs of +12, +15, + 24, + 28 or + 48VDC. The output voltage is user adjustable by +/-10%.

A metal cover option is also available.
