Portwell’s PEB-2738 Atom-based motherboard is available from Review Display Systems.

Manufactured by industrial PC specialist Portwell, the unit is based around Intel’s Low power Menlow XL chipset offering either the  1.1GHz or 1.3GHz Atom Z500 processor.

The board will support FSB at 533mhz and up to 2GB of system memory.

Power requirement is 3.96W at +12Vdc. Form factor is 102x146mm.

The board also features a compact flash socket, 2 x serial RS232 ports, 4x USB ports plus one Client USB port, Gigabit Ethernet and SDIO header.

An on board 24bit LVDS display driver capability can be enhanced to full independent dual display support via the SDVO expansion port.

Other features include on-board audio and a watchdog timer.
