Cree has released R3 bin XP-E power LEDs, taking 350mA cool white intensity into the 122-130 lm band, and delivering up to 116 lm/W.

Warm-white (3,000K) XP-Es have also had a boost, and are now available in the 94-100 lm (350mA) Q3 bin.

Higher maximum currents for both XP-E and XP-G LEDs have also been announced.

XP-Es are now rated at 1A maximum forward current and the larger die XP-G has been raised to 1.5A, the latter delivering up to 493 lm at 92 lm/W.
