Rohde & Schwarz has expanded its range of power sensors with models that measure thermal power from DC up to 50GHz and 67GHz.
Used without a base unit, connection to a PC is via USB.
A standing wave ratio (SWR) of 1.35 is achieved from 50GHz to 67GHz.
Sensitivity, of the NRP-Z56 and NRP-Z57 thermal power sensors, has been improved by minimising zero drift and noise.
According to the supplier, this increases dynamic range to 55dB and enables thermal power measurements for powers as low as -35dBm.
The sensors measure up to 50GHz with 2.4mm connector and up to 67GHz with 1.85mm connector.
