Rohm has a range of audio processors which it is targeting at car and home audio systems.
The 18 ICs in the range offer a the different input and output configurations required to accommodate multiple audio sources and speakers.
There are also a number of acoustic correction options available.
There include parametric equalisers, loudness circuits, and subwoofer LPF/HPFs that are designed to allow optimised audio playback based on vehicle cabin characteristics.
A common register map is also included in all models, allowing control of the devices from most existing microcontroller software.
The distortion figure is 0.001%.
