ON Semiconductor has expanded its N-channel power mosfet range with the addition of 100V devices.

The avalanche ratings are up to 500millijoules (mJ), which means the mosfets are suitable for use in designs where voltage overstress resulting from unclamped inductive loads is a concern.

Typical applications are likely to include industrial motor control, power supplies, power inverters in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and direct gas injection (DGI) in automotive.

The devices feature an RDS(on) of 13mO and a maximum current rating of 76A.

The devices can be AEC-Q101 qualified.
