The AT91SAM3S Cortex-M3 start-up package from MSC consists of the evaluation board ATSAM3S-EK (ATSAM3S4C MCU in the Cortex-M3 Rev2 architecture with 64MHz).

Integrated are a full speed USB port, SD card interface, 1Mssmple/s 12-bit analogue-to-digital-converter (ADC), 12-bit DAC, 256k flash, 48k SRAM memory and USB JTAG-ICE interface.

On-board are capacitive touch-buttons and sliders, which will be supported by Atmel’s free QTouch library.

There is a QVGA colour TFT display with resistive touch-panel and headphone output.
