IAR Systems’ development kit for the Freescale i.MX25 family of ARM9-based microprocessors comes with its own hardware debug probe.
The evaluation board, using a i.MX257 device, features 32Mbyte of SDRAM, 1Gbyte of flash memory and a 320 x 240 colour TFT LCD display.
A range of on-board sensors includes key buttons, LEDs, potentiometer, 3-axis accelerometer, stepper motor and a speaker.
Interfaces include; USB Host, Ethernet 10/100, UART, CAN and JTAG.
The IAR KickStart Kit for Freescale i.MX25 contains a comprehensive suite of software development tools, including IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM 32K KickStart edition, IAR visualSTATE evaluation edition.
IAR Embedded Workbench incorporates the IAR C/C++ Compiler, assembler, linker, librarian, text editor, project manager, and IAR C-SPY Debugger combined in an integrated development environment (IDE).
Example projects and RTOS board support packages are included in the KickStart Kit.
