Green Hills Software's Platform for Wireless Devices platform now includes wireless driver support for Atheros Communications AR6002-based 802.11a/b/g SDIO radio modules.

Silex Technology engineers performed the device driver porting effort to add AR6002 support for the Green Hills Integrity RTOS.

Silex will offer support services for customers deploying Wi-Fi-enabled products based on AR6002 and Integrity.  

It will also provide Atheros AR6002 radio modules in various form factors including an SDIO card that offers FCC/IC modular approvals. 
 
The AR6002 offers hardware-based security with the WPA, WPA2 and 802.11i standards and supports the industry-standardized Wi-Fi Protected Set-Up.
