Avago Technologies has introduced its first 4G/LTE Band 7 duplexer.

The Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator (FBAR) duplexer , the ACMD-6007 has an insertion loss of 2.1dB maximum in the transmit channel.

The 2.5dB receive channel insertion loss will improve receiver sensitivity and dynamic range, said the supplier.

Handset receiver sensitivity and dynamic range is improved by the ACMD-6007 as it attenuates the transmit channel by 50 dB minimum in the receive channel, reducing transmit-generated noise in the receive band.

The device is designed for LTE Band 7 (2500-2570 MHz uplink, 2620-2690 MHz downlink).
