Avago Technologies’ MGA-635P8 low-noise amplifier (LNA) is designed to be used in first stage of cellular basestation transceiver radio cards, tower mounted amplifiers, combiners, repeaters and remote/digital radio heads.
With a low noise figure is a design goal, the MGA-635P8 has a noise figure (NF) of 0.56dB, 0.75dB maximum, at 2500MHz.
Another key design factor is linearity and output third-order intercept, OIP3, is used to specify linearity.
At 2500MHz and operating from 5V with a 56mA bias current, it delivers OIP3 performance of 35.9dBm.
The MGA-635P8 is housed in a quad flat no-lead plastic (QFN) package with a small 2x2mm footprint and slim 0.75mm thickness.
