Analog Devices has a multi-function RF demodulator that integrates a 60dB variable gain amplifier, a fractional-N phase locked loop synthesiser with voltage controlled oscillator and two baseband ADC drivers in an 8x8mm LFCSP package.

The ADRF6850 operates over a broad frequency range from 100MHz to 1000MHz and supports narrow band and wideband signal modes up to 250MHz.

The device has an input IP3 (third order intercept) of 22.5dBm, P1dB (input compression point) of 12 dB and a noise figure of 11 dB.

It also supports the user selected SPI/I2C serial interface and is fully supported by the latest version of ADI’s PLL design tool, ADIsimPLL.
