Maxim Integrated Products’ latest rail-to-rail operational amplifiers are available in 6-pin SC70 (single), 8-pin SC70 (dual), and 10-pin UTQFN (dual) packages.
With 38nV/rt-Hz input-voltage noise density, 50fA/rt-Hz input-current noise density, and 0.1pA input-bias current, the MAX9636–MAX9638 facilitate interfacing to high-impedance sources such as photodiode and piezoelectric sensors.
Designed to operate from a 2.1V to 5.5V supply, the op amps are suitable for sensor interfaces in portable medical applications that demand low noise and low quiescent current, said the supplier.
An optimised ratio of gain bandwidth to supply current allows the devices to support 1.5MHz bandwidth.
There is also a low-power shutdown mode that reduces supply current to 1µA.
