Congatec has introduced a mini carrier board for COM Express Compact modules which measures 145 x 95mm with various interfaces.

In addition to four USB ports and a Gigabit Ethernet connection, the graphic interfaces include DisplayPort, HDMI, LVDS, DVI and VGA.

The conga-MCB will also support interfaces such as high definition audio and a mini PCI Express socket.

For the connection of mass storage, 2x SATA, SD-Card and CFast have been integrated.

Power can be supplied using 12V DC or 5V DC in standby mode. All necessary signals for battery management are available so that the congatec Smart Battery Manager (conga-SBM2C) can be used directly for easier implementation of a mobile system.
