Amplicon’s Impact-R 1000LP 1U rack mount Intel Atom-based PC is less than half the depth of the existing 1U.

At only 220mm deep, it can fit into an extremely shallow depth cabinet or two systems can even be mounted back-to-back in a 600mm deep cabinet.

The standard system comes supplied with a 160Gbyte extended duty hard drive. Environmental performance is achieved by use of an industrial CompactFlash.

Expansion is also available through a PCI card slot, suitable for half length cards such as data acquisition or additional communications ports.

There are three serial ports - two RS232 and an RS232/422/485 selectable. There is a 2Gbit/s LAN interface and six USB ports.
