Rolec’s die-cast aluminium enclosures have been designed to simplify customisation requirements.

Typically, industry-standard die-cast enclosures would require additional machining and reworking in order to mount electronic or electrical components such as keypads, and accessories such as hinges, locks wall brackets, etc.

The supplier’s aluCASE series includes these features as standard.

The enclosures can be machined on any external surface so that cable glands, controls, displays, connectors and indicators can be fitted.

The supplier will also machine the internal surfaces to provide extra mounting points or remove existing screw bosses to make room for assemblies, rails or PCBs.  

The enclosures are rated to IP 67 as standard, but can also be specified to

IP 69K with a special factory-fitted gasket.

They manufactured in die-cast aluminium in 24 standard sizes with external dimensions from 75x50x33mm to 330x200x120mm.
