Intersil has introduced the ISL26132 and ISL26134, 24-bit delta-sigma ADCs containing a very low noise programmable gain amplifier with gains of 1x, 2x, 64x and 128x.
Designed for precision sensors and industrial process control systems, the ADCs can be connected directly to sensors without the need for additional circuitry.
The devices also incorporate SPI-compatible serial digital interfaces for connection to an MCU or FPGA.
The wide PGA gain range enables direct connections to load cells and other sensors.
The ADC is available as two-channel (ISL26132) or four-channel (ISL26134) devices.
Noise is specified at 10.2nVrms at 10Sps (PGA gain = 128x).
There is simultaneous 50/60Hz noise rejection and a -40°C to +105°C operating temperature range.
The ISL26132 is available in a 24-pin TSSOP package and the ISL26134 in a 28-pin TSSOP package.
