The newly introduced model AGM-1005-15 miniature X-band amplifier available from AtlanTecRF can be used in either connectorised or drop-in configuration and which features high reliability screening to MIL-STD-883 as standard.
Covering the frequency range 8.0-12.0GHz this amplifier uses thin film and MMIC technology in a reliable gain module for microwave applications in communications, radar and defence equipment.
Geoff Burling, CEO of AtlanTecRF said, “This X-Band Miniature Amplifier runs from a +15V DC supply to deliver over 18dBm of linear power at typical gain of 12dB and noise figure of 4dB at +25C. Gain flatness is +/-0.75dB max over the band and the input and output VSWRs are 2.0:1 maximum.
“All units are tested over the temperature range of -55 to +85C and the MIL-STD-883 screening includes Precap, Stabilisation bake, Temperature cycling, Burn-in, Acceleration, Vibration as well as Gross and Fine leak," said Burling.
At around the size of a small postage stamp, the amplifier enables high density assembly and is also cascadeable for higher gain.
