TFC has added to its range of custom air cored spring coils both leaded and surface mount parts.
 
Important for microwave and tuned RF circuits, filters and TX/RX systems the range includes a standard range of moulded surface mount coils from 2.5nH to 500nH on tape and reel and custom wound designs.

Custom devices may be single or multi turn with clock-wise or anti-clockwise windings and internal diameter from 0.3mm. Materials include gold, silver and copper with through leads or preformed for smd assembly.

Air coils produce the highest possible Q values for inductors and are invaluable for tuned circuits with applications including satellite communications equipment, instrumentation, ariels, high quality oscillators and microwave systems.
