Epcos develops, manufactures and markets electronic components, modules and systems. These are integral and indispensable parts of virtually all electrical and electronic products. Epcos focuses on fast-growing and technologically sophisticated markets. Epcos is the global market leader in products that account for 60 percent of our sales.
A further 30 percent is generated by products in which we are the number one in Europe. Epcos’ strong focus on innovative customer and application specific products translates into a high share of business with OEM customers and with distribution accounting for approximately 15 per cent. The major industries we serve are information & communications, industrial and automotive electronics as well as consumer electronics. Our largest customers in FY 2007 were Arrow, Bosch, Nokia, Siemens, and Sony Ericsson.
