Embedded systems company, Hitex has joined with middleware and development tool firm PrismTech to support low-latency, real-time designs.
Behind the move is PrismTech’s OpenSplice DDS (Data Distribution Service) middleware. Originally developed for demanding mission-critical defence and aerospace systems, it can also be used to provide predictable, low-latency, reliable high-throughput data dissemination across distributed systems in other industry sectors such as manufacturing, transportation, and telecoms.
OpenSplice DDS complies with the full profile of the OMG DDS for Real-Time Systems v1.2 specification.
